# Governance

What's a Council:  A web3 protocol enabling an organization to govern on a perimeter that is defined by the Council creators.

The Council is an essential governance organ of the game and many essential decisions will be voted there.

Note: Space Hunters is a game operated and funded by a private company owned by the [founder](/space-hunters/team/founder.md). 

* Council Funding: There won't be a specific funding for the Council, all execution voted by the Council will be operated by the private company which will also fund all these activities.
* Proposals: Proposals can be coming from the founders directly or they can emerge from a discussion within the OG community. In the case of a conversation leading to a proposal the proposal will first be reviewed by the founders to make sure it is feasible before it's submitted to the Council for a vote.
* Voting: holding an OG token grants access to voting power in the Council

Examples of proposals that will be submitted to the Council for voting are:

* Spaceship's look
* Choices of game UIs
* Choices of prizes
* Mission's caps
* etc...
